Why do we feel frustrated and empty, sometimes?
There are a lot of reasons that make you sad, mad, stressed, and small, but all of them become from one reason - unbalancing your mind and body. Let me correlate these two things.
Well, when you just follow what your body wants, with being distracted by our 5 senses. For example, pay attention to a lot of tasty but unhealthy food advertising around, watching shorts, netflix, stuck on insta or fb. Where again you can see successful and fit celebrities who day by day getting just more successful and happy with doing their favorite things for a living,( what is usually fake), but what do you do? Just trying to finish all your duties during the day as a student, worker, mom, or dad, and when you finally got home you are too tired to do something that you like to do, things that can improve yourself, and can help you feel you going forward towards your goals. If we just keep doing nothing for growing ourselves.
I think that is the reason WHY WE ALL CAME HERE. So, without paying attention to yourself and just being distracted by checking other's lives, social media, brings you a small emptiness that after a while can grow into a big hole inside you and makes you unhappy and empty. Well, we can try to hide those mind uncomfortableness again unhealthy food, alcohol, gambling, over-shopping, and staying up late, because we don't want to face the next day( we will talk about it in the following post). Do you see yourself in one of these situations? So, there is no blaming or finger-pointing, we are humans and all have our strong sides and weak as well. I think the important matter is to realize that you have an issue that bothering you, step aside, and observe the situation, this is the first step to solving the problem.
Solution...
As I mentioned above, sometimes there aren't enough hours in the day with juggling several tasks, sometimes even more than several that can burn you out, leaving no room to focus on your well-being and your inner peace. Be kind to yourself and take moments to destress and reboot your mind and brain.
So, I'm happy to share seven healthy techniques to help reduce stress and find time on your own ^^! Here we go...
- Check your poster
During the day try to be aware of how your body is. How you keep your neck, shoulders, and back. Our physical position is completely related to our brain. When your shoulders and chest are open, your neck is relaxed and flexible. In a word is to keep all body in one vertical line, which helps to produce hormones that keep you in a good mood. A person with closed shoulders and back never can be in the right mood and energized to do great things. Yoga is a great way to make your poster proper and light.
2. Meditate - stay with yourself
Meditation and mindful silence help the mind and body to relax and focus. Mindfulness can help people see new perspectives, and develop self-compassion and forgiveness. Also when you practice a form of mindfulness, people can release emotions that may have been causing the body physical stress. You can even start with morning 2~3 minutes of silence(meditation) before you dive into your busy daily routine.
3. Write down what bothers you!
Yes! Writing down the problem not only relaxed your mind but also made the whole situation much clearer. I started to find the many shortcomings in my requisition. With a better picture of the situation, I was able to generate ideas to identify and fix the flaws in the project proposal that worked!
You can also analyze and solve the problem, find more solutions, and pick the best one. The magic of writing down the problem will unravel the genius in you and amaze you!
4. Meet nature and feel yourself up! Get Out!
Have you been feeling down lately? A little sluggish, stressed out, or maybe wondering, What's LIFE all about? How much time have you spent in nature lately? We can be completely in the modern way of living, but our brains still have a deep connection with nature, and research shows that if we don't nourish that bond against our technological advancements, we may suffer in many ways.
Try to go outside for a run, or hike, do not enjoy doing it?
- just go for a walk, nature always makes you calm and helps to reset your mind.
- Add a daily walk on a local hiking trail to your regimen
- Go on a bike ride around your neighborhood
- Just sit at your favorite place outside and meditate or gather on one point with trying to focus on your breath.
5. The Power of Music
Listening to your favorite music may have more health benefits than you realize. There is even a Music Therapy program, that can improve mental and physical health conditions, reduce anxiety, relieve pain, improve sleep, relax your body and help with meditation, and motivate you.
6. Shall we Dance?
Can't dance? It's completely ok! Just let your body move in the way its wants. Dancing like other physical activity releases the neurotransmitter, endorphins (happy hormones), which serve to reduce stress and cause our bodies to feel calm, happy, and optimistic. It's also a way when you are in a kind of meditation or in a present, what gives your mind take a rest and find a good solution afterward!
7. Deep Breathing
How does deep breathing help to control your mood?
It was like a new world for me. when I opened a lot of breathing techniques for myself! If you've ever taken a deep breath to steady your nerves, you're familiar with breathwork. And Yoga provides a lot of proper breathing techniques while you doing your practice which became a good daily habit, that helps you to set your mind up. One deep breath can change your focus, your mood, and even the rest of your day. I'll share my favorite breathing techniques with you in the next posts, today I'll touch on a few important facts about breathing.
Do you know an Ice Man? His name is Wim Hof. He is my Breath Hero! He can control not just only his mood, but even his body temperature. Record a swimming under ice and prolonged full-body contact with ice. With proper breath, we can do a lot of things and make our life more productive, interesting, and also long!
So, each tip can have effects in a good way and change your mood and overall mental state, it's really more important to find a way YOU ENJOY! One way to find out is to TRY IT! GOOD LUCK!
